looking at some zx wheels for my 78 1000 axle diameter questions was created by maddogKZ
i have a feeling that some of the 90 something zx wheels have the same diameter axle but im not sure. just curious to know if this is the case and if not, what wheels are known to fit the stock axles.
also, if i were to convert to a newer wheel would i need to also swap calipers and make new caliper mounts to fit?

Are you trying to put the Zx rims in the stock swingarm? If you are, you're probably not going to get wider than a 3.5" rim in there.

The 78 1000 has a 20mm rear axle, don't remember for sure about the front but I think it might be a 17mm. Later models seem to use smaller diameter axles in most cases.
