So 33/15 would be slightly taller gearing (due to smaller rear sprocket) than 35/15.
Here's an excerpt from Z1E --
Changing Chain & Sprockets
Different sprocket sizes - larger or smaller - what is the impact to performance?
Final drive ratio.
Divide the rear sprocket tooth count by the front tooth count and you have the final drive ratio. For example: 35 / 15 = 2.33:1
If you want to change your gearing, you can calculate the impact of the change before you purchase the new sprockets.
For example; your bike cruises at 60 mph / 4,000 rpm and has a final drive ratio of 2.33:1 - if you want more acceleration, putting a 37 tooth sprocket on the back and leaving 15 on the front changes the ratio to 2.47:1 (37 / 15 = 2.47:1). Divide your cruising RPM by 2.33 and multiply by 2.47. Using the example from above, 4,000 rpm becomes 4,240 rpm at 60 mph.

so if your ratio is low like 2.2 it will have less acceleration but a higher cruising speed but a ratio os 2.5 will pull off faster and go through the gears quicker but rev higher on cruising speeds on the highway?
Sometimes helps to recall the various front and rear sprockets on a multi-geared bicycle, with pedal sprockets likened to motorcycle countershaft sprockets. When chain runs on the smallest front pedal sprocket and largest rear wheel sprocket, that is the lowest available gearing with more rpm pedal speed for any given road speed. Conversely, when the chain runs on the largest front pedal sprocket and the smallest rear wheel sprocket, that is the highest available gearing with less rpm pedal speed for any given road speed.

i just ordered the 17/45 530 from z1 I wanted the 18/47 like mentioned but they didnt have a 47, 45 was as big as they had so i stepped the front down. .
GPzInfested's 79 KZ650/GPz750 has 18/45 on it right now, but he's going to change the front sprocket to the 17 so he can get the front wheel up. So you ought to have plenty of acceleration with the 17/45 combo on a 1000.
