i'm in the process of building a mild drag bike and want to use a '94 ZX7 rear wheel,my question is what wheel bearings do i use in this wheel with a 3/4" axel? my swingarm came with the 3/4" axel and adjusters,or do i have to use the stock 25mm axel that came in the ZX wheel?what have those of you who have do this swap used?

thanks

mscdirect.com has bearings with inner, outer and thickness listed. You can go see if they have one that will work.
IIRC the sealed ball bearings of the type and size we use for wheel bearings run around $7-$9 a piece.

Or you can find your size = number cross at msc and see if NAPA has in stock.

You could use the 3/4" axle. A 25mm (1") axle would be stiffer. On a road racer would use the 1" axle. There are so many combinations of bearing sizes it's incredible. I can't see a problem with finding a bearing to match inner diameters and outer diameters. What about other spacers and bushings will they allow you to run a 3/4" axle?

thanks for the info guys,i think i'm gonna make a collar on my lathe that will reduce down from the 25mm to the 3/4 along with a reducer in the bearing in the sprocket hub,all will be ok then.

thanks again
