I am guessing you are talking about the banjo bolt holding the line on the caliper, if so try hitting it with a hammer the shock will help break it free, also a good soaking with something like PB Blaster may help free it up. sometimes they can be a real PIA to get off

Thanks for the advice with the hammer, I'll definitely try that tonight! I'll also soak that sucker in some PBR and see if I can't get it to budge.

however out of stock for my bike...
I also had sticking calipers so I pulled them and got the pistons out w compressed air.
Any harm in just cleaning them up and reinstalling?

If I am going to take the time to disasemble clean, I am going to install new parts,, I hate doing things twice, may take a few days to get the right parts, but would rather do it right the first time, after all you dont want a brake failure at the wrong time:ohmy:

I should have taken the advice given to me. I tried to get the bleeder screw out with and EZ Out.........and it broke off!! I took it up to my local Kawasaki dealership to see if there was anything they could do. They tried, but the damage had already been done. Luckily they just happened to have a caliper from a 75 kz400d sitting in their parts shed and they let me have it for $50! What are the odds of that? It's kind of a rare part to come by these days!!
Thanks for all the help everyone!!

Does anyone know how I can get the piston to push back in? Do I just need to connect it and flush it with brake fluid to get it back in?
Thanks for the help.

If you still cant move it then a rebuild will be required since the piston is stuck.
But the good thing is the bleeder is not broke off in it
If you want to save the old caliper, find a machine shop that has a EDM machine, they can burn out the broken e-z out and fix the thread fro you
