Looking for some help identifying this master cylinder piston. It has a point and small plastic cap on the spring end. The reservoir is labeled 1/2".
This supposedly came off a KZ750. Maybe a single disk setup?

Good luck on finding parts, I ended up putting a ninja master cylinder from ebay on my 550 LTD. I talked to Jeff at Z1, he said that there are no rebuild kits avalable for this cylinder due to it being used on only a few bikes. and I found this out after spending 3 hours smoothing and polishing mine:(

Just got word from Rob at Z1 that its from an 80650E or F - and you're right, rebuild parts are very hard to come by.
You mentioned you replaced your's with a Ninja master cylinder, mind if I ask what year and model?
Thanks

Most of them will work, you just need to make sure that it has the threaded hole for the mirror to screw into. I have a 95-96 GPz1100 master cylinder on my 79 KZ750 twin, along with 79 KZ1000 drilled rotors, 83-85 GPz750 calipers, and braided stainless steel lines.
GPzInfested can out run me on his 750 Turbo, but he can't come anywhere close to stopping as fast as I can
