Rear brake conversion

Hi guys,

I am in the process of converting my drum brake(kz 900) setup to disk. I bought a 1980 kz 1000 brake pedal with spring. Although the pedal seems to fit right, i do not find a way to fit the spring. Is there a specific kz year, for pedal and spring to fit the KZ900 without too much mod for this conversion ?

Have you tried using the stock spring from the 900?
