You might like risk taking riding cheap tires but when you have to stop in a hurry cheap rubber compounds just don't hook up with the ground quite so well. I would buy a good quality tire. Metzlers make a great tire, Avon's too, there are many good tires on the market. Rain riding I have heard so many people swear the metzler lazer is the absolute best tire.
You get what you pay for and I wouldn't cut corners with lesser rubbers. Use them once if the years exceed the miles just like....

is there any issue with changing aspect ratio? I have a 130/90-16 on my rear right now and i wanna change it to 130/70-16 i know aspect ratio is height/width x100. So i know its gonna be a shorter walled tire.:S input?
130/70-16 is a strange size. Seems to be made for front fit on newer bikes going by Dennis Kirk who listed all that size as front. If you do change to the size going by the tire size calculators on the net, you'll be changing the circumference over 8% smaller. You're going to raise engine rpms by 8% so at least 400-500rpms more at the same speed at highway speeds than you were running before. I suppose you could change gears to compensate if you really wanted, but a 130/90 is really too short already in my opinion. 130/70 would look really strange to me.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
