I want to know if these rotors are a direct bolt on. I figured since they were thinner some other part would have to be modded? Suggestions please.

Can´t say for sure if the rotors are a bolt on as I´m not that familiar with the 900 Ltd, but the Z1R rotors have a 297 mm/11.69" diameter and a four bolt pattern.
As for the thickness, no other mods are needed - the service limit for the Z1R rotors is 4.5 mm, which is like 1.5 - 2 mm less than the thicker rotors, with a fresh set of pads you shouldn´t have any problems, plenty of piston travel left.
I´ve been running Z1R rotors using a pair of stock 650 calipers on my 650B for the past 3-4 years with no problems.
