1978 KZ1000 police
torque specifications was created by Bicycle Lee
so I have a 1978 KZ1000 police bike that I'm putting a j-model head onto. I has just wondering if the torque specifications change for that upgrade

I assume you mean the main bolts that hold down the cylinder head? I was surprised to find that in the chassis forum.
I don't have the KZ 1000 manual, but my KZ750 has the spec of 27 - 30 ft-lbs, which is about 325 - 360 inch-pounds. I can't imagine that spec would change because you install a different model head.

I think the answer is ,they stay the same, but I am not 100% sure of this,

haha... the reason I put it here was because under the Chassis heading it said nuts and bolts... SORRY:P
