'77 KZ1000-MTC 1075 kit. Stage 1 port
Need help finding a master cylinder was created by fordtruck
Hey guys. I need some help finding a front master cylinder for my 77 KZ1000. It has 1980 KZ1000 LTD dual front brakes and master cylinder. The problem is the cap for the master cylinder is broke and the reservoir looks extremely brittle. It also seeps a little between the reservoir and metal body. I would like to find a master cylinder off of a newer bike. I don't care what model it's off of, just that it works. It would need to have the mirror mount built in. Do you guys have any suggestions?

are you looking for model specific or you just want anything? ebay has universal dual master cylinders for a fair price.

I would prefer something off of a Kawasaki, but I'll take a look at the universals. It does need to have the mount for a mirror.

95-96 GPz1100 master cylinder has the mirror mount, and that's what I'm using on my 750 twin with dual disc.
Several other Kawasaki models use the same master cylinder.
Just for grins, I looked it up, the following models all use that same master cylinder.

steell, thank you very much for the cross reference. That will help a lot when I'm searching on ebay.
Royal1MC, I'll probably by that one if I can't find something used. Thanks for the link.
