'77 KZ1000-MTC 1075 kit. Stage 1 port
Seat foam question was created by fordtruck
My wife recovered the seat on my 77 KZ1000 and it looks great, but there isn't enough support. We used foam from an upholstery shop. After 30 minutes, or so, the foam is almost completely compressed and it feels like I'm sitting on the seat pan, which is not comfortable! Any ideas on how to stiffen my seat up? Is there better foam I can use? Has anyone here tried a layer of memory foam like is used in mattresses?
Thanks
Thanks

HD36 Foam - High Quality

this could be your best bet. Just click on cushion/mattress button and tell them the dimensions you need and they price it for you to order. Memory foam will collapse a considerable amount and it's usually like a layered padding with a more firm foam underneath it.

ve seen from time to time replacement foam on ebay.
But JC Whitney has cell pads that you might can use on top of or underneath the seat.
