Has anyone mounted zx11c swingarm and forks to a gpz1100/1000j frame ? What problems did you encounter?

Inline4 on here has mounted a set of Zx11 forks on his Z1. You can PM him and I'm sure he'll get you some info. I haven't seen a ZX11 arm in a Kz of any year or model as I believe they tend to be rather wide through the pivot area and require quite a bit of machining/ fabrication to fit.

Thanks, I'll check with him. I wanted to stick with one model as a source for both forks and arm so I could have matching wheels with minimum aggravation.I found a zx11c minus motor and bodywork cheap and thought it might make a good donor.I've got access to a Bridgeport, maybe I can mill off enough to make it fit.I'll try to get the dimensions from the seller.

Use the rear wheel but not the swingarm, just use a GS1100 swingarm or some other one that works instead. Check out the "Front end swap" and "Rear end swap" forums at 750turbo.com to get some ideas.
