If not, then it's been modified and you'll need to ask the current owner what parts he used off what bikes.
Look behind the headlight at the sticker and see what the date of manufacture is.

Lot's of things changed on the KZ's starting in 81-82, notice that one doesn't have a kickstarter while 77-80 does? The motor in that bike has more in common with the 750 fours than it does with the pre 81 650's.
Lack of emission crap on the cam covers gave it away as a Canadian model.

That bike is an 82 CSR 650. The CV carbs and lack of mag wheels narrows it down. It also looks to have a MAC header installed. The 81 CSR650 has VM24 slide type carbs and the 83 650CSR came with mag wheels so based on what I see I'd say that is an 82.
Also, according to kawasaki.com, the 1882 CSR650 came from the factory with single front disk brake and drum rear brake (as shown in the photo).
