It should say on the master cylinder itself, take a look at the bottom of the unit and it will say 5/8 or 14. 5/8 is about 16mm and this what you will want for a dual brake setup. The 14mm are typically what come on single brake setups.

There have been several discussions in the forms about using 14mm with dual brakes and everyone has recommended against it. The brake will feel mushy and then the discs will lock. I tried it with mine and found that to be true. Wasn't riding the bike when I was testing it.

Hope this helps.

I looked "under" the m/c and all it says is "Japan" "Totikyo?" and has a little symbol sort of like a circle with a line through it. The unit is brushed alum. w/a round, screw on,top not the square one with screws for the lid. Is this aftermarket or am I looking in the wrong place?:S

Well I wasn't expecting a difference in opinion I appreciate everyone's input. However I would still like to know what I have. I will attach pictures but they were taken with my cellphone. I have a digital camera but I don't know how to reduce the image size, so untill I figure it out this is what I got!
