A H-D wheel would probably be the easier route, though.

The later CB 750 SOHC (F model) did come with a spoke disc brake rear wheel, but they used the old heavy thick brake disc and part of my doing this was to convert the brakes to a new lighter braking system(disc and caliper). My set up is still alot lighter than the complete stock CB 750 F Disc brake wheel.
Having a hub made would probably be a little on the expensive side. When I bought the 2 round chunks of aluminum (off Ebay-pictured) a while ago, it think it was close to $50 and aluminum has gone up in price since then. After you get the aluminum stock, you then you have to figure in the shop time (it usually isn't cheap) to machine it (machining the chunk of aluminum down to a usable size, boring for bearings recesses on a lathe, it will then need to have 20 holes bored and countersunk (milling machine) on each side for the spokes, along with sprocket and disc mounting holes.) Thats a bunch of hours and a couple of seperate milling processes and total cost adds up quickly.
I think a company called "Barnes" made hubs. I have seen a few of them, mostly for Yamaha XS 650's.

ive got a realllllllllllllllly good source for metals here locally, practically free on a good day!my machinistbuddy works at a tool and die shop that lets him play after hours, and he needs a new furnace in his house! It was a little on the heavy side. Since the pics were taken I have cut some weight off it.
