Unfortunately lost one on the highway and would like to find out if 1977-1978 KZ1000's are an exact OEM match or do I need to stick with 1976 KZ900.
Really want to stay OEM if possible and appreciate any insight you can give.
Thankks

my problem with doing it that way is if you ned to get em off quick in an emergency it aint gonna happen!to hold them on i drill a 3/32 hole about 5/16 of an inch dow from the end of the locating pins and push them in place then i use ether cotter pins or spring pins push thru the holes to keep them in place in the rubber grommets.
