alright there gezza!!
dvla will be able to fill in the blank when you apply for log book.
as long as to can give a chassis number your good,
but yes there is always a but you could end up with a "q" plate if the old registration number has been unused for a certain amount of time also do this asap I've heard they have a new policy of fining users who are slow to register vehicles even if they are off the road.
ive been away from blighty for 8 yrs so things may have changed but for sure everything works in their favor!
