Thank you locozuna, luck i will need for sure. But im a poor boy i guess in the sense that i dont have the 400 and some odd bucks to drop on a new corbin, so i can really get creative when it comes to mounting.
Me either! Like I said I'm a cheapskate. I got this one for $40 about a year ago at this time. It had a cigarette burn right in the middle of the saddle. I have no idea how that happened but all it took was a $9 vinyl patch kit and you have to look REAL good to see the patch which is less than the size of a dime. I also won a set of hinges and rubbers about the same time so now I have the Corbin, the stock king/queen and a flat seat like a Z1 standard that I can interchange in seconds. Can't take credit for them all tho. Bro got the King/queen and straight seat and set ups before I got the Corbin.
Now is the time I usually get some deals on e-bay until New Years. I think everyone is busy with family stuff and traveling and don't pay attention to the auctions. No deals yet this year but I'm watchin'! Happy Holidays!

It looks identical to the ebay seat other than leather colors...
Ninja 900 seems to be the winner!
The seat looks a little different at the tank to me. One is more round and has a different slant at the rear. Just my opinion:unsure:

Here's a pic of my Corbin Gunfighter on my 76'900 ltd. It has the peanut tank and fits great. Yours sure looks like it's for the deep tank models where it hugs the tank. The bottom looks nothing like mine either. Can't see the hinge or rubber stops positions. Looks like you are in for some fabbing. But the seats are great. GLuck!
Hopefully it will hug the bottom of the big Z1 tank nice.

Have just noticed Corbin's website no longer shows any Z1 seat (1973-1975).
It's weird, but if you click the 76-80 link, it shows 73-80. Not sure why, but I think they fit all 73-80 900 and 1000 A models except 79 and 80 A models.
Here's the page:
