I was wondering if i can put metal flip up style foot pegs on the z1? Like say the king on the crotch rocket bikes? Thanks Jim.

I don't know what'd fit the stock mounts, but I found these blue aluminum ones that fit the '04 GSXR mounts/rearsets I've adapted to my kz:

I like that set up. Is the kick start still functionable with those rear sets on there? Those would look killer on my 650.
I bought these on a whim because they look like they will fit, and if the don't fit im ony out 19 dollars.

Yes, but I have to either lift the peg up or remove the mounting pin and remove the peg all together(easier).
I use the elec. start 99% of the time, but did drain my battery one day on a slow ride using driving lights, and had to kick start her as the elec. didn't work.
Other side, before and after:

Ya slow rides with drivg lights on would for sure do it.....lol. I wonded if i could adapt the gsxr 600 rear sets to use with my z1........it just so happens my buddy has a wrecked 03 gsxr 600 and the pegs are in good shape. Those look like the rear brake pedal would clear the sidewinder pipe im running on my bike with no problems.
