Ok I ordered a set of goldwing shocks for my gs swingarm conversion.
Thanks for opening up this subject as I'm wondering what shocks to go with once I get around to installing the GS arm on mine. I was going to wait 'till I fit the arm on there to see what length I needed but, maybe you could let me know beforehand?
Yes, yes,...post pics!

i would not use a washer that was any smaller than the hole in the upper shock mount,as it could allow the shock to possibly come off over the washer.which could get ugly quick.

Don, when I bought my GS shocks, they came with several bushings. I'm wondering if you could just buy a universal set like this that might have the right size bushings for you.

The hole for the top mount is too small. I guess I could have drilled it out but I heard GW shocks work.i thought you just get gs1100 shocks? i have the swingarm, but havent put it on yet.. will the gs shocks work?

The one on the left is the GW rubber bushing, the right is the kz bushing in the GW shock.
Here is how it sits on the bike.
What I did was use a small washer that fits in the hole against the rubber, then I put on a bigger one. The first washer sits against the lip of the mounting stud and holds it just like the kz shocks. Since I used a bigger washer it won't slip off the stud.
