IM BUILDING AN 810 BIG BORE FROM A 650 AND I NEED SOME ANSWERS.
needle bearings or bushings please help.. was created by eddieteeth
im having a problem figuring out what i need for my bike. my bike is a 1978 c2 kz650 that had needle bearings in the swing arm. though when i ordered new ones from z1 i only found bushings listed for my make and model. so i went ahead and got them. will this still work?

usally the swing arm pivot rides directly on the bushings as they are quite a bit thicker than the bearings i think but i'm not sure but the bushing kit comes with a spacer for in between the bushings.

No, you're wrong there. The 77s came with bushings, the 78s with 4 needle bearings. They are not interchangable. Different swingarm tube, different swingarm even on a 78 model. Bearing-needle, HK221 KZ650-C2~ 92046-1115
