I have always rode with my feet on the rear pegs when i ride so i thought i would make some rear sets and try them out before i spend money on store bought.

Won't see me laughing, that's pretty cool. So is that the stock peg mounted upside down? How does it feel? Comfortable position?

thats how i run my pegs always....but i got boats for feet so i just bought a shorty shift lever and away i go...puls it gives the bikes lines a little streamline i think...having the pegs up and away from the cases.....nice little linkage roy
p.s...plus it puts your balls of your feet on the pegs and the pegs are close to in line with the rears pivot points

another way i was thinking is the 83 gpz 1100 and kz1100 i think have an already linkaged shift lever and a guy would only need a bolt tacked as you have to pivot off...i saw a few with buy it now for 16-20 with all the links...

Speaking of the other side. I forgot to install the brake pedal i built when i built the shifter. The first time i reached for the brake pedal i really had to reach. I'll try and get a pic tomorrow of the one i made.
I like the shifter. I have to do some modification to it since i didn't try it out with the kick stand up and it hits the spring on the kick stand. Roy

I had to crawl under clutter to get this pic. This project is a pernament fixture in the shop.
Any ho Here is the rear brake set up i made for the rear set on the 1979 LTD with the Ninja Swingarm. Roy
