2002 zx900r swingarm on my z1 900? was created by oldkaws4ever
I got a lead on a swingarm off of a 2002 kawi zx900r does anybody know if it will fit into my frame or if it is wider at the swingarm pivot point? It comes with the rear rim also. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the arm is too wide for a Z1/Kz frame. If you can get a measurement from the arm compare it to 235mm which is the distance from inside to inside at the swingarm pivot of a Z1/Kz frame.

235mm = ~9.25" so you're going to have to trim about 1/8" each side. Another thing to look for is how quickly it widens out from the pivot as that can sometims foul the frame rails even if the passenger pegs are removed.
