fabricated offset counter shaft sprocket. was created by 531blackbanshee
i finally got some pics of one of the offset countershaft sprockets that i have built.it is a 3/8's offset 520 17 tooth.i torch the teeth off and the splines out (accordingly)then machine the inside and outside (accordingly)then build a spacer to match everything and weld it together.here is the pic.

thanks for the compliment omr.
that one just came off of my z1r that i built the swingarm for and put the r1 wheel tire and brake on.i built an 18 tooth that is on there now.i live 2 1/2 miles off from i-75 which has a 70 mph speed limit and if you can't cruise at 80 mph you will get run over.so i was wanting to lower my cruising rpm's a couple thousand,the 18 seems to do the trick.
current gearing is 18/38 with a 190/50-17 tire and 520 o-ring chain.i can still pass without downshifting(handfull of throttle)and it seems like it will go on forever.i have buddies with v-max's and v-65's and i like to be able to walk off from them on the highway,hehe.
keeps em more "respectful" haha.
