I have read alot on here that for an extended swingarm to go with the GS1000 and they are compatible with the KZ1000. Are all years of the GS swingarm longer then the KZ I have a 78 KZ1000 and found a 78 GS1000 swingarm and was wondering how much longer it actually is then he KZ1000 swingarm?? Can any one help me down my path??

how long is the gs swingarm the stock kawi arm is only around 19 3/4" if i'm not mistaken it has been awhile though.

thats what i dont know I found one(GS1000) swingarm I was gonna buy but I dont know the measurements

I've got two of them.
I didn't really care for them that much. Sure it's a inch or so longer, but you need spacers not only for the axle but also for the swingarm pivot shaft.
