Anyone know what the actual size of the Lower Fork Bolt on a 82 KZ 1100 is? I stripped out the allen head on mine and would like to get one quickly instead of waiting 10 days for an OEM to come in.

Why not just remove the same bolt from the other side and take it to the hardware store for matching.
Good Luck!

The dealerships won't tell me the size of the bolt and they will take about 8 days to get the bolt in. I am in eastern Iowa. Not too many OEM places on hand. The bike was supposed to be done for a poker run for a charity this weekend and it looks like it won't now.
I was just asking what the size of bolt it was so that I could check that hardware store for the bolt.
I cannot find the specs on the bolt anywhere online and I have spend a ton of time looking for it. If anyone knows the answer or where I can find it. Please let me know.
P.S. Didn't mean to offend anyone. Sorry if I did.

8x1 would be fine metric pitch, as far as I know the only nuts/bolts on a KZ that are fine pitch are the lower triple tree clamp bolts, caliper mounting bolts and upper rear shock mount nuts (plus maybe the steering stem top bolt).
