Just remember 1992 was 17yrs. ago whats the chance you'll get a used pair any better than what you already have?
Even if its not year specific which it probably isn't.
Just trying to help !

I'm running the progressive wound 12 3/4" black shroud shocks on my 650 and love them. They are rather stiff on my 650 (but I like them that way), and should be about just right on a 1000.

You could probably get a really nice set of progressive gas shocks with springs for maybe $300 ballpark. I think Z1 sells them.Ohbutgeez.....cain't y'all read my mind over the internet??
