that would be trianglaguna playing with my account,i keep finding these little landminds hes laid out.First I'll give you my opinion about your question. I think the fender is there to do more than connect the forks together. The fender actually adds some stiffness to the lower fork legs. This improves handling in general and cornering especially. Therefore IMHO a fork brace would be a very good idea. (Maybe even with a fender on, these are 30 year old beasts.)
