Theres another pair of the older rear shocks on ebay. Question I have is changing the connection type on the shocks. The ones on ebay are the read ones from a Suzuki. They use the shackle (U-shaped) attachment on one end which makes me wonder how hard they would be to adapt.
You can get a total rebuild kit for them and any part you need from the manufacture. On the GS forum there is a guy that took the Kaw setup(eye to eye) and replaced one eye with the clevice style and fliped it upside down. But if they are made with the clevis on the bottom casting that might be a little different. The other way around that would be to fit the bike with an aluminum swingarm from the GS1100.

Which side is the bottom? Reservoir side? If so, I think it is cast into the reservoir. Maybe do a swingarm swap and weld on some mounts to fit.

I just picked these Marzocchi shocks up for $35 dollars I thought they would look good on my bike. Are they good quality? Any information would be helpful...Russ

I think its on backwards, Maybe not, but I have seen the older reservoir shocks with the reservoir on the back side.
I think you are correct. That is not my bike. It is the one they came off of....Russ
