Rear shocks? was created by mzandmz
My '77 KZ650 rear shock springs are rusty chrome:( . I would like to replace the springs with better looking chrome ones to keep it Stock. But like anyone I dont like the spendy price. Used ones would work if the trouble was worth it. Any Ideas would be greatly thank you'd..:woohoo:

Motorcycle shocks are pretty pricey, the cheap ones are about $100 and decent progressive gas shocks are more like $250. IMHO, stock shocks are basically useless.
I ran these for about 20 years. The quality is OK, but they are a lot stiffer than stock.
