Now, in this auction the seller states, "75-80 KZ 900-1000-MARK II". This cannot be true for many reasons. There were no MKII's in '75-78, there are no MKII 900's, and the KZ900 and 1000 A models use a different seat completely, and so does the shaft model (as we all know).
According to racerZ, it's up to the bidder to ask the seller if it fits the MKII, even though it says "MKII" in the auction. What do you all think about this? Just asking for curiosity sake....

It appears to be set up for a KZ900/early model KZ1000A/B but no latch...the seller is probably trying to push a seat that ordinarily wouldn't sell

I'm trying to ID this seat and the decal underneath lists both models! If the seats are different then I guess both models shared the same decal for 1980. Question is though, how do I tell which seat this is??

And here's the seat I really want. I'd like to have Ron's seat reworked to look like this:
1976 KZ900
2003 ZX12R
2007 FZ1000
2004 ninja 250R for wife
