Handlebar risers? was created by polkat
I really like the stock handlebars on my '82 KZ750, and I plan to keep them. But, I wish the were about 2 or 3" higher. The risers are an intergal part of the upper triple tree and can't be removed. Does anyone make extensions for this bike? Or what have others done? Thanks!

Not cheap
www.powersportsfx.com/sa/p/Universal_Ris...ar_risers_-_1_up.htm
All I've ever saw was 1 inch risers but I have seen those with setbacks too. I have 1" on my 900 and I like them a lot. Especially with flatter bars.
I got mine off e-bay for about $20 an d I thought that was steep.

There are dozens of risers out there. Be careful of the bar size, many are made for dirt bikes and will be made to accommodate 1 1/8" bars, not 7/8". Just google handlebar risers and you should find plenty.
Good Luck!

Yea, I was hoping for an Ebay find, or at least Google. No luck. Found a lot of them for the Vulcan's and dirtbikes, but nothing for the old KZ's. Other ideas?

These
1" risers (7/8" bars)
pop up on ebay now and then. These are new but used ones show up too. Never seen them any higher. Some that move the bars back 1" show up too. Keep looking!
