Lowering blocks? was created by polkat
I want to lower my '82 KZ750H about 3" in the rear. I know that blocks are made to move the bottom of the shocks out (and yes, I know that renders them less effective), but I don't know who makes them or where to get them (or, for that matter, how to make them). Any ideas?

Thanks for the responses. Turns out that you can't get blocks for the rear shocks on these bikes because the block would need to sit where the caliper is. I suppose the caliper could be moved, but sounds like more work then it's worth.

3 inches is a lot, you'll need stiff shocks or have to be very light

kano, don't know how the bigger KZ's are set up, but on the KZ750 that's right exactly where the caliper sits. Couldn't use them.
