Front Axle Studs was created by Kawickrice
Do the front axle studs that hold the clamp on the axle press in or are they threaded? I have one butched and need to replace it without doing more damage.

they are a thread in. 8x 1.25 mm i believe.press in would be make it way to easy to pull them out if over tourqued

they come out easy...by double nutting and locking the nuts then backing em out,becuase the threads on the clamp side have areas that never get used all the way and will accept another nut spun on all the way.....did mine last summer...good luck

Thanks guys for the input. I have a set of 900/1000 fork that I was able to rob one from, I was thinking as I was removing the stud that it looked like an exhaust stud.
