I have a 5/8" rear master cylinder from one of these KZ1000's that needs new seals and it has had one of the mounting bolts modified to fit another model, but it is clean and painted. Worst case if yours doesn't work, I could sell you mine for $20 + shipping...

I pulled mine apart with compressed air be very careful of mc body internals its all factory machined and tolerances are at mimum. try as is. and go on. it is what it is

Old thread but what the hell, even older pictures
I was able to force the pistons out by relocating the front brake master cylinder and back brake to the frame and pumped the pistons out with dot 3
