My son has a 95 zx6r. On the caliper of his bike it has a peice that fits into a slot on the swingarm. No "torque arm".

It's all about the math...
How heavy is your bike? How much is the maximum potential tourque energy that can be applied to a bracket piece with all of that tourque potential moved into a very small angular velocity at the very end of the swingarm? - not its intended design, for sure?
Can it be done? Absolutely! ...but only with the correct level of engenering science applied.
Or you can just do it and increase your chances of being a smear on the pavement like an Apollo one test rocket monkey! :woohoo: Always fun, and exciting!
GOOD LUCK!
I'll keep mine.
OR go to a completely already engineered, no bracket setup! Theres the easy route - no brainer

i used the brembo brake and the bracket from an r1 in my custom built swingarm and it does not have a torque arm.the bracket has a rectangle boss that slides in a slot thus negating the need for the torque arm.not the best pic but you get the idea.
