77 kz1000 with 38MM forks???? was created by cjcrandell
Ok.... So I picked up a 77 kz1000 from craigslist. Bike was a basket case. Ive been putting it back together only to find out it has 38MM forks instead of stock 36MM.
The seal size that came out is 38x50x10.5
Anybody have any idea what these forks are off of.... more importantly what oil they take and how much?
Thanks in advance. Chris

Not sure, but I think the police KZ's have larger fork diameters. Coulda been swapped for a police frontend.
