Tapered Neck Bearings was created by ironpan65
When installing the Tapered neck bearings on an early Z1.....( replacing the ball style bearings)....will the triple trees be slightly longer now where the headlight ears mount on the fork leaving a gap?:blink: ::huh:

I've changed my bearings to the tapered style. They fit just fine on my '78 with no gap. I'm assuming that the bearings would be the same overall height for your machine too.
