Has anyone made their own custom length cables?

I just need to measure the cable ends when I get home so I know which ones to order.
Then I have to figure out where to get a longer brake line.
On a side note. Are these parts something that a dealership would normally carry? Perhaps I can find them locally.

I am looking to make my own custom cables for different bars. Has anyone done this? I was going to buy parts from Flanders. I assume I just need cable, conduit, two ferrules, two cable ends per cable (throttle and clutch). Am I missing anything?

Would inquire of Z1E which carries many different cables, brake lines, and brake line components, at reasonable prices. And could likely suggest which sizes (from other bike models) would best fit the intended applications.
A diy cable is imo more at risk for pulling apart where the inner cable attaches to the ferrule.
Good Fortune!

Cut to length install in used cable housing. On some of the older bikes the cable ends are just soldered on and can be reused,If not I use the shoulder section of the correct sized bolt.5/16 or 8mm on my Kaws, drill a hole put the new cable in and silver solder it on.On one of my bikes I used the big G string from one of my guitars.Super cheap and hasnt failed Plus gives me somthing to do.
