530 chain and sprocket is the way to go. Check with Z1 enterprises and they will set you up with exactly what you need for less money than the 630.

Or could duel TSIO 550's perhaps be the way to go Tony?

Don't get me started on 550's. Here's a link to an io550 . I tore it down for the TSB and the details are interesting to say the least. Continental rep was there. He gave me a bunch of stickers!
LOL!
sorry for the high jack.

Newer technology chains at the 10K tensile strength are ~ $140... I got my nice beefy O-ring 630 from Jeff @ Z1 for ~ $90... Example EK ZZZ 530 Chain.... $$$ Ouch... :pinch:
A properly & regularly lubed O-ring 630 will last years with no problems...
As for color... I'm with Patton, My Pimp Daddy OMR KZ doesn't require a pink chain...
Ewwwwwwww.... Orange chain.... No your talking...
As for weight differences, less than a pound... So unless your truly drag racing this KZ where every ounce is required... Please, I don't think so for you eat lunch, and go for a ride, does your old KZ grunt and groan due to added weight, hell no...
Now if you do still decide to go with a 530 and truly there's nothing wrong with that as long as you get a top quality high tensile strength chain... Same on a 630 or any other chain, for that matter....

I like it better than the motorcycle specific chain lubes.
