that looks like a zypher 750 swinger.

I like the idea of motocross setup on one of these kz's. I have to say that would be pretty cool if done right!

or just put a kz motor in a YZ 125 chassis!!! someone around here did that, turned out pretty badass.

yeah that a zephyr swinger. I would use something like that as opposed to a mx setup. the forks are lighter and are made to flex street stuff is not. a 21 and 19 rim prob wouldn't handle very good either. I would go with a set of usd forks off a zx7 or gsxr 1100 theyre the longest and a good swingarm. I used a gsxr swingarm just some ideas

im leanin twards this swing arm and wheels .
comes with 3 17 fr and 4 17 rear what sise tires can i run on these rims??

still lookin for the usd fork sellin my truck to buy parts for my bike lmao!

The idea of riding big off-road tires on a street bike is cool. Its like a "survival" bike.

Just some info for help, the "inverted" front suspension from the pic you posted is an Ohlins front fork. They cost about $3,000.

Ouch!!!! mabie in my dreams lol . I know I cant swing nothin like that.


no reason to give up ! some of the guys on this site have set me up with people for parts and so far so good. like the swing arm and wheels ! all i have to do is keep lookin im thinkn do the swingarm and wheels wile lookin for new forks. will the 17 fit my stock front forks ?? i know i will have to do somethin with the breaks . but thats a good way to stay riden i can do the forks this winter all summer to find stough!!! :silly:

i would just leave the front end alone untill u have all the parts. i road mine for a summer with the new rear end and stock fron. ran fine no isue with dif tires(1 radial, 1 bias.). Heres a pic and a link to my project.

actually doing this very thing right now lol.
this bike... 78 kz650 will get 09 klx250 forks/wheels. klx forks are 34"(wheel bearing to very top of forks)

this bike will get the ninja 636 forks. those are 28" tall. bobber forks are 31"
