KZ440 drive belt?

I posted this in the 'New Members' forum (before I read the 'Read this First'.) Never was any good at following directions....

Howdy from NorCal - 2006/04/07 08:38 To alla you Kawboys(and Kawgirls, too). Hoping you can help me out. I'm working on an '82 KZ440 for a friend, and I'm frankly outta my element.(my bikes all have things like ticklers,pushrods,and Amals!) I'm sure I'll have lotsa ?s, but the big one right now is:

Can anybody provide a part# and/or a source for a final drive belt? (Looks like it was a 131 tooth(?), from whats left of it).

I answered your post in New Members, but I'll put it here, too.
P/N 59011-1001 is a 125-tooth belt
P/N 59011-1009 is a 129-tooth belt.

I checked the parts list for KZ440 at www.z1enterprises.com (the owner, Jeff Saunders is a member of this site), but I couldn't find it. But contact them via email... they may have a new one.

I've never bought from them, but they have the part (used) in their data base.

And finally, the KZ dealer may still be able to get this part.

Found this on ebay. Worth a look.

I tracked down a drive sproket for an '82 440 belt drive from a guy in Canada. He had a decent belt as well (about 3-4 weeks ago), was asking $50 for it. Brian Harriman is his name, chrometank@sympatico.ca is his Email. Thats Canadian $$, so even with shipping it wouldn't be more than $60 or so. Might take a few days to get through Customs. I think the business is called TwoWheelSalvage.... Try him; a new belt is gonna be big $$$$$
