Here's a pic of a vintage "Kosman" Suzuki GS brake kit. It replaced the stock discs with 330mm discs and used brackets to mount the stock calipers to the forks. Every thing was stock (OEM) except for the discs, brackets and braided lines.
Stock discs are shown to compare them to the "new" discs.

New set of gpz calipers are way better ! OMG i've partially found what was my problem. The GPZ MC is different from my KZ550 spectre 83 (beside inclined)... The piston is smaller !!! That's why i had trouble using my gpz calipers with this MC and also the new one on ebay.... I think recent calipers from today require less fluid movement from the MC to brake than from the gpz one!
I've passed my inspection today the guy never checked the brake lever (anyway it's almost perfect) ! so much stress in the last days for nothing!
BTW, for my first long ride with this bike i've noticed 2 things. I must increase the idle RPM to 1500 instead of 1100-1200 because it will fight to stay running when the engine is hot ( drop to 800 rpm then eventually die if i don't blip the throttle often)
second thing only when the engine is hot, gentle valve noise is happening (click click click... i have a full face and i can hear it when riding at low speed but you have to concentrate on it)
ps: sorry for to much information thrown a the same time ... I'm very excited ... I'm enjoying every minutes on this bike !!!!
Thanks to all !
laurent

bikes run lean when cold, and get richer as they warm up. if it idles fine when cold(lean), u may try leaning out the mixture screws a bit , to see if it will idle better when hot.
You are right sir !
Good news Laurent, looks like you'll be riding this summer after all!
I'm already riding the girl  ...
My brake project is on hold for now (i will take the time to study what i will install this winter ... since i've already paid for the oversize discs)
