difference between the 81/82 CSR Frame and the LTD Frame?

I found a supplier for a Trailer Hitch. They say the same hitch works for the 83 CSR and the 83 LTD. They have a hitch for the 81/82 LTD but they have no data on the 81/82 CSR.
From a picture that I found, The CSR Frame and the LTD Frame look the same.
Since the hitch is likely to mount to the upper shock mount and the bolt holes for the turn signals, Does anyone have enough familarity to say that these dimensions are the same or at least - real close?

The 82 M and the K frames have different part numbers on buykawasaki.com, but I just spent 10 minutes flipping back and for between the pictures to try and spot a difference and could not find anything different.

I know for sure the side covers interchange (I had an 82 M for a short while), but that's all I know for sure.

You may want to chat with someone at the company. Kawasaki didn't make a 1983 CSR and the 1983 LTD was the 'L' model (KZ1100L). Note that the 'L' model is 1100cc and a shaft drive. Steell noticed different part numbers for the 1982 'M' and 'K' models suggesting there is a fundamental difference in construction. Externally, from a dimensional standpoint, the bikes (M & K) are apparently identical (I have the KHI shop manual) and all the stats are the same. So, if the hitch is claimed to fit the 'K' model, it will fit the 'M' model also.

Does anyone know where the hitch mounts or what it looks like? I am pretty handy but i just dont know what it looks like or where i would attach it to.

and yes i realize this is a really old thread. i just didnt want to start a whole new one
