sometimes i put a LOT of air in it...you can remove the valve stem so the air goes in fast and while its empty spray a tiny bit of water with some dawn dish liquid around it... if that doesnt dom it you can also take it to shop with a big air supply and have it given a good blast -stem out...it should seat then...bouncing with the stem in too helps...80 psi for a few seconds and a bounce or two should not hurt the tire...imo...

Does it have a tube, if so it may be bunched up inside......What I usually do is put a little pressure in it to get the bead to seal then bounce it on the ground and most of the time it does the trick, if it doesnt then I let the air out and do it again untill it seats the right way. It can be a PITA sometimes.

My last three tire mounts went much smoother. Lots of windex on the rim and aired up to about 100 psi (my compressor only goes to 110). You can watch the bead as it starts to expand and then pop into place. A bit scary the first time you do it. No need for straps or bouncing with the ones I mounted.
