Need help rebuilding forks was created by ratson
Can somebody tell me how to pull out front forks on GPZ1100 B2 82'.. Are those forks plug type so just to push the cap(on the top of the sprigns or screw type to unwind it) to release springs also there is a air hose conection above lower triple tree and I can't find the way to remove it from the forks.Its on the pic with red arow

There is a plastic cap that pops off the tops of the fork tubes. After that is removed, then you can insert the 1/2 inch drive end from a rachet into the top of the fork tube plug and screw it out. Then you loosen the fork clamps (after having removed the brakes, front fender, front wheel, etc.) and with a turning/twisting motion, pull the front forks out of the clamps...at the same time, you'll be removing them from the air connection (phrased another way, you must remove your fork tubes to remove the air connection). This is actually well illustrated in the factory shop manual.
