"NEVER BUY TOYO TIRES!" is simply way to vague, and my mind reading hat is at the cleaners. Specific details would be nice to know.

My friend has a Ford Lightning that comes with Goodyear Gatorbacks that wearout very fast. He put a set of Toyo's on and they wear just as fast. Sticky compound will wear out fast on the street.

My favorite part of the Chicago Marathon is the place where they hand out bananas to the runners. In the middle of the marathon, there is a block long stretch covered with banana peels. :woohoo:
Sounds like a Far Side cartoon opportunity...so what
about those TOYO tires anyhoo ?

Very strange, it was available yesterday. It was about 2 pages long, or at least one long page. He actually does explain what was wrong with the tire and was getting some favorable response from the dealer where he bought it.

It was available yesterday, although it looks like it may have been "Detuned"....

Maybe he's got a 350z and the brakes failed. That's a pretty random common problem. I'm still trying to figure out how he got from tires to brake pads...

From my memory of his original post which was either taken down/detuned... He Said.
He had the Slick mounted on his Dragbike, and I assume it's a GS Car Tire bike... Problem was he could not get it to "Hook" after trying various Axle Adjustments, Wheelie Bar Settings, and then Tire Pressures...
When he gets to the Tire Pressures and ups the Pressure to 6lbs I believe he stated the Bike Hooked a Left turn from the right lane almost taking out the Christmas Tree just out from the starting line...
Which he states he nearly "Schat" himself...
He goes on to say how Toyo at first didn't want to make Good on the Tire when he discovers it is an Inch off in height, from Side Wall to Side Wall across the tire..
Then he started to get some attention after posting his problem in the forums.. Then he said The Manager from Appalachian Tire in Florida started communication with him on behalf on Toyo...
And so I think that is why his original post on GS Resources was "Detuned" so that he may have better results in negotiations.
This was from memory.
He also stated that he swapped the tire for another Exacting Toyo Tire Type that he purchased at the same time, and the Bike went "Straight as an Arrow"... And that's when he discovered the Height Difference/Problem.

Yeah, and the thread for that link is very truncated now. He did, in fact, go into quite a bit of detail, but those posts seem to be gone.
Actually, I think he started a new one when the old one was deleted.
Here's his quote from the GS resources forum:
I do not need to repeat myself.
TOYO world wide needs a humility pill...
F.F.F> ANY TOYO product. I hope search engines pick this up
BAD business TOYO TOYO PRODUCT WILL KILL YOU
TOYO KILLS AMERICANS beware!!!!!!! toyo killer
