Tank lining/sealing was created by Iron Duke
O K I have sealed a tank with por15 with no problems, bike is still running 8 months later, liner holding good. But now I am going to line another tank with a sizable amount of rust(line these old tanks cause I can't keep tank full a gas, and worry about condensation) Thinking of getting the BillHirsch(auto.com)motorcycle tank repair kit,one of our member claims its the best for M C tanks soooo should I buy this one or not, has anybody used the Hirsch product?

My tank was a rust/flake bucket inside and I as well used the 3 part Kreme kit... On my second summer here in AZ, no issues what so ever.... Came out spotless and no seal drips.....
If you go this other route, let us know how it fares....

i tried tank sealer ,didnt do me any good! :S :woohoo:
if you are going to repaint the tank id reccomend a trip to the radiator shop for a good cleaning before trying to seal a tank,im not a fan of things that flake off in gas

little welding/grinding and some funky green paint (not my color choice! )and good as new,of course between the hot ass casting and the idiots hitting it with stuff it will be burned off in a couple weeks
