bigger tire = different swing arm? was created by kz1k
hi guys. i was reading and saw people are using a Suzuki GS swingarm in order to use a larger rim and tire. does it matter what size gs it comes off of? are there any other swing arms that can just be bolted on for a decent price used?
my bike frame is a KZT00A-030869
THANKS .......JOE

Depends on how big of a rear tire you're planning on using, then figure in offset sprockets for the engine and possible need for a bearing assembly in the sprocket cover to prevent wear on the engine's output shaft(where the engine sprocket mounts).

Maybe this will be of some interest, but the swingarm from my 83 gpz1100 (I think it's a stock swinger) is almost 1.5 inches wider and 2" longer than the stocker on my kz1000...
