As you can see from this pic they are quite different. The one I got with the fairing also has a mirror mount welded into the left end, and I got a mirror with it. I will be waiting until I store my bike to mount either one and the fairing, as I don't want to cut into any possable riding time.

Those are really different. Is the one in front still for 7/8 clamp? It looks thick, but could just be because it's closer to the lens.

In lew of clip ons.....If anybody has a website to get thos adj. clubmans from, lemme know. Methinks with some inventive mounting, might be able to get slightly more "aggressive" riding position than the superbike bars, but not so unfriendly as the clipons.

Hi all, I have an 82 spectre with superbike bars. I tried a set of drag bars on it but the controls hit the tank. I also tried inverting the superbike bars, and while it looked cool, the riding position was very uncomfortable. I now want to try a set of clip-ons after moving my forks up in the tree, Does anyone know the fork diameter for my bike so I know what clip-ons to get?

This is a link to an Ebay auction. Same guy I bought them from. I guess I got lucky because I won mine for $33. He's now starting em off a bit higher.

Almost forgot, Indykaw, I had superbike bars on there before the Tomasselli's. You are right about the adjusting, you can mount them pretty flat and adjust the lean angle to where you're most comfortable. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

i tried a few handlebars this weekend:

- adjustable clubmans. they make you reach more forward, as well as down. i was riding yesterday and had a scary high speed wobble on a long sweeping curve. i wondered if the bars result in too much body weight on the hands, so if the bars start to wobble on an uneven surface, the extra body weight magnifies the wobble. sound likely???

- ordinary clubmans. they won't work on my bike cause the master cylinder hits the tach.

- the stock bars (upside down) are on the bike now.

there's some pics here:

Those look like the perfect bars, Dutchz. You really have me thinking, now. I was going to get clubmans, but it seems unlikely I'd get it right on the first try, and the angle being adjustable rally appeals to me. Any thought on how hard it is to get a comfortable position between the upper and lower extremes on a regular clubman bar? The tommasellis are a little out of my price range...unless I just can't get it right with the first set of clubmans. My local shop doesn't charge me shipping, and gives me a 10 percent discount, so I'm in the high 20's price wise.
